One Last Shot (Alaska Air One Rescue - Book 1)

I have a question/problem with my order. In the 2.5 weeks since the order I have sent multiple emails and gotten zero response. I have gone on the Susan May Warren fiction website and sent the question that way because there is no phone number to call anyone. And I have still had no response.

Yet the twice a week emails keep coming out promoting buying something else. So someone is apparently working somewhere at Susan May Warren fiction but just not checking the email account. It is a very disappointing experience for someone has been a longtime reader.

"There's the story we create and the story we're created for. Maybe that's what this adventure is all about."

I've read quite a few of Susan May Warren's books and every new release is like a breath of fresh air, filled with fast-action adrenaline, heart-stopping romance, and soul-edifying spiritual truths. And I do so love how her characters from previous series overlap and weave themselves into new plots, triggering nostalgia while diving headfirst into a new and exciting adventure.

We're back in Alaska for this series and it was fun to hang out with the Kingstons while getting to know their cousin Boo from Minnesota. Boo, with her mad survival skills and EMT instincts, is hiding from social media and the fiasco that upended her life while rescuing people with the newly formed Alaska Air One Rescue team. Oaken is a charming country music star needing some reality TV show time to boost his image on social media. Of course, accidents, unpredictable Alaskan weather, and meddling friends and co-workers turn both of their lives upside down and it's truly a rollercoaster ride physically and emotionally from the beginning to the end for Boo and Oaken.

It was also fantastic getting to know Moose, the head of the rescue team, in this book. Though the next book sounds like it will be about his brother Axel, Moose had some great spiritual advice for Oaken throughout the book. I can't wait for his story!

Mrs. Warren said s a top notch author. Once you start her books, I want to sit with a cup of coffee and read her books cover to cover. Always adventurous, spiritually encouraging, and some romance.

I love to read Susan May Warren! This book does not disappoint. A message we all need that Jesus is the answer. Believable characters that take us on an adventure with romance.

This is the first book i have read of yours.will be reading more love the story lines well written cant wait for book 2
