A great start to RJ and York’s epic story

“It’s the way of evil. It is unrelenting. And the fight is always there. Our job is to just fight the battles we’re assigned to fight.”

RJ and York. They haven’t changed much since the ending of The Montana Marshalls. RJ is still impulsive and stubborn with something to prove. She’s still too curious for her own good and hasn’t learned from any of her near-death experiences, but we can’t have an adventure if she doesn’t lead York into trouble, right?
York clearly makes the book. He’s still the steadfast, patient, loving man who just wants to have peace and quiet with RJ but his past catches up with him and he reluctantly dons his 007 persona. This time, nemesis from his past steal high-tech electromagnetic equipment with nefarious plans. There is plenty of adrenaline-fueled action as York and his colleague Roy battle evil. The plot moves swiftly and the suspense is nail-biting. It does end on a cliff-hanger of sorts so you’ll need to immediately get the next book in the series!

Fans of Susan May Warren and the Marshall family will love this continuation of RJ and York’s story. I received the book from the publisher via JustRead Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are my own.
