This series goes back in time with each book to uncover the past that we got a peak at with Kat’s story in book 1. It is a book that you won’t want to put down as you follow Hope & Michael on their journey to uncover the truth. Packed with adventure and faith, it’s a great read!
The Sparrow was such a fun read. It had all the suspense and action reminiscent of a James Bond movie. Spies, double agents and covert assignments will keep you on your toes throughout the book.
I enjoyed hearing more about Nadia and seeing her part of the mystery that starts in the first book, The Prodigal.
As always, the Biblical aspect was my favorite part of the whole book. Watching the protagonists learn that God is all they need was a good reminder to me to make sure He is in His rightful place in my life. So thanks for that Susan May Warren. I’m thankful the author uses her talent to bring powerful messages in her stories.
I really like the concept of traveling backwards in time in this series. We met Kat Moore in The Prodigal and now we meet her parents in The Sparrow. This is a story of spies, love, danger, double crossers, and God’s grace. A fast paced whirlwind with twists and turns that keep you guessing. I can’t wait to read book three!

Fascinating story about the life of a spy during the cold war. Who can you trust? How will you get out of the trouble you're in when you're outed or arrested?
