Their story gets better and better

"Fact is, all great love stories involve pain and sacrifice. But that's what make them so epic, right?"

RJ and York's epic story continues here and I loved every minute of it! RJ finds herself in Germany then in Italy through a series of crazy events (when is she not involved in a series of crazy events?) and York finds himself there too while dodging the mob and chasing down a villain set on destroying his beloved country and people. Not to be missed here is the breath-taking Italian countryside where delicious food and wine abound and beauty and tranquility bring healing. We also get a nice inside look at Roy and Ziggy, two fantastic secondary characters whom I'm secretly hoping will have a series of their own. Embedded into this high-octane, adrenaline-fueled plot is a heart-wrenching and spell-binding memoir of Ziggy's grandmother who tended their vineyard and worked with the resistance during WWII. The faith thread remains strong, as secondary characters continue to remind York and RJ who really holds all things.

There is definitely more romance in the plot of this second book than the first. Be on the lookout for some truly surprising turn of events that will leave your heart galloping - completely unexpected but absolutely perfect twists in the plot. And the ending! It's a good thing that the books in this trilogy are releasing right after another because you won't be able to sleep with this cliffhanger.
